LIQUID GENDER
The Fluid Gender Series has been with artist Amano Viktor Rencelj for years.
In this installation, the sacral layer of sexual fluidity takes center stage and is surrounded by six further aspects in the form of everyday objects, such as a decanter, a vase or a water tank container.
The objects reveal their interior as a space which we would fill with a liquid in everyday life, representing the concept of fluidity. They become objects of art of light, which we experience as immaterial, but at the same time remain objects of utility, which we recognize as a familiar and mundane thing, for example a vase.
Die Liquide Gender Serie begleitet den Künstler Amano Viktor Rencelj seit Jahren. Für die Diplomarbeit baut er im Mittelpunkt die Sakrale Ebene der Liquiden Sexualität mit ein. Umringt wird Sie von sechs weiteren Standpunkten in Form von alltäglichen Gegenständen wie z.B. einer Weinkaraffe, einer Vase oder einem Behälter für Wasser. Jedes Objekt enthüllt das Innenleben eines Gefäßes, welches wir im Alltag mit Flüssigkeit befüllen. Es wird zu einem Objekt der Lichtkunst, welches wir als immateriell wahrnehmen, und bleibt zugleich Gebrauchsgegenstand, den wir als einen Alltäglichen, etwa als Vase, wiederkennen.

As an artist, I see an art as a gift to human kind.
I intentionally choose glowing body and the red color, consciously. In this way, I connect what cannot be seen with eyes, in abstract form. Like a revelation and vision what we, humans, associate with red color. Red like blood. Red like corn poppy. Red like a ruby, the red soil and a signal to be careful, to be here and now, in this moment. As a basis where we come together and start from the beginning. Every beginning is red. Everything is connected together in red. Every connection I see as a gift. There is no absence, it is the illusion of a disconnection, the forgotten umbilical cord of the present time.
The present time, which connects us in this spectrum.
Als Künstler sehe ich die Kunst als eine Art Geschenk an die Menschheit. Dabei wählte ich den Leuchtkörper und die rote Farbe als bewusste Entscheidung zum Objekt. Somit stellte ich die Verbindung zu dem was dem bloßen Auge verwehrt bleibt abstrakt dar. Wie eine Offenbarung und Vision zu dem was wir Menschen mit rot verbinden. Rot wie Blut. Rot wie Mohn. Rot wie ein Rubin, die Erde und als Signal zum Achtsam, zum sein im hier und Jetzt. Als die Basis von der wir zusammenkommen und Anfangen können. Aller Anfang ist rot.
Aller rot ist eine Verbindung. Aller Verbindung ist als Geschenk zu sehen.
Es gib kein Mangel, es ist die Illusion von Trennung, die vergessene Nabelschnur der immer währenden Gegenwart.
